This page explains how we handle personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The company is established in Bulgaria, so these rules apply to an inquiry wherever the sender is at the time.
What we collect
We collect personal data when you use the form on this site or write to info@tripsbulgaria.com:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you give one
- the start date and the number of guests
- your message, and the tour it refers to when you write from a tour page
- the language of the page: English, French or Spanish
The site does not take card payments. We do not ask for health or dietary details. If you choose to write such a detail because the group needs it, we use that sentence only to adjust the programme.
Why we use it
We use these details to answer you and to prepare or carry out a programme. The legal basis is steps taken before a contract and, once a trip is agreed, the contract itself (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Who receives it
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising. An inquiry is stored on this website and sent by email to info@tripsbulgaria.com. When a trip is actually arranged, we pass on only the names and the practical details the supplier needs, to the hotel and the carrier for that trip. The company that hosts the website stores the data so the site and the mailbox can work.
How long we keep it
We delete an inquiry 24 months after we receive it. If a service is invoiced, the invoice is kept for the period required by the Bulgarian Accountancy Act. That period applies to the accounting document, not to the message in the form.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to the data, a correction, deletion, a restriction, or a copy of what you sent through the form. Write to info@tripsbulgaria.com. You can also complain to the Commission for Personal Data Protection, 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, Bulgaria, www.cpdp.bg.
